Coronary heart condition is in some cases called coronary artery disease or atherosclerotic heart disease.
Coronary Heart Disorder Potential Threats
These are among the more common hazards for coronary heart disorders. This list is not full.
- 65 or more - more than 83% of those who die of coronary heart problems are 65.
- Diabetes- Diabetes mellitus greatly increases the risk of coronary heart problem.
- Pedigree- The descendants of a father or mother with coronary heart disease are the most likely to receive it. The risk of coronary heart disease due to unhealthy weight gain is very high among African-Americans, Asian-Americans, Mexican-Americans, Native Americans, and Native Hawaiians.
- Hypertension - High blood pressure is another risk of coronary heart condition. This threat is particularly important for African-Americans.
- Lack of exercise- Less active lifestyle increases the risk of coronary heart disease.
- Tenderness- The risk of coronary heart problem and heart attack in men is higher than in women patients.
- Menopause - Women are actually at increased risk of coronary heart problems after life changes. Elderly women are more likely to experience heart disease a few weeks after the attack than adult men.
- Obesity - Men or women who are fat or overweight are at risk of coronary heart disease as a result of excess weight. If exaggeration is high, they are more likely to develop coronary heart disease and stroke, despite the fact that they do not pose any other type of health hazard.
- Smoking - A cigarette smoker has 2 to 4 times the risk of coronary heart problems compared to nonsmokers. Secondary smoking can also trigger coronary heart conditions.
Some possible risks of coronary heart problems can be controlled - some not. You cannot regulate your gender, your age or your family history. They are what they are.

You can manage the risks of many other coronary heart diseases. You can change the lifestyle so that you are not idle. You can count calories to lose weight - even 10 pounds reduces the risk. You can end cigarette smoking, and seek the help of your doctor to deal with high blood pressure, diabetes issues, or other things that put you at risk.
